The first All India Madhesi Students Association (AIMSA) Meet drew to a successful close on February 10, 2008 after more than a month of hectic preparations. The objective of the meet was to spread awareness about the organizational architecture, activities, goal, and roles & responsibilities of members of the AIMSA.
The response from our members was overwhelming with more than 300 participates from all over India registering themselves for this Mega Meet. In fact every available seat in the auditorium was taken up well before the start of inaugural function. Aim of this conference was to introduce this organization to all Madhesi peoples who are staying in India. Members from all over India had come to join this conference and they had given speech about the condition of the Madheshi people in Nepal and how we can improve the condition. The main focus was on education and living standard of Madheshi people. |
