AIMSA was formed to promote advancement and awareness of the Teraian’s identity, Linguistic and Cultural heritage, and facilitate close ties, cooperation and networking among Nepali Teraians in several part of India because more than 70% of Madheshi students are studying in India. It will also promote cooperation and strengthen ties with other Madheshi Nepali Organizations in Nepal. By cultivating closer relationship with different organization, AIMSA will seek to promote harmony, better cooperation and greater unity amongst all people of terai origin students studying in India.
